My brother would like to get Comcast Sports Network online. We are 50 miles north of Philadelphia and comcast does not operate here. The local cable companies have CSN, but you must purchase basic cable at high expense. All he wants to do is to watch the Flyers. NHL Center Ice is an Out-of-Market Sports Package only.

Of secondary interest would be NBC Sports, NBCSN, and The Comcast Network (TCN) .

TCN Philadelphia carries "overflow" games when at least two of the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Union or Philadelphia 76ers play at the same time, with one of the games airing on either CSN Philadelphia or as of 2014, NBC affiliate WCAU (channel 10).

Is there a way to get this channel ala carte? Is it possible that it will be available in the near future?

If you know somebody in the area with Comcast, buy them a Slingbox and have them set it up.

Do you have service electric? I grew up with SE and the overflow games appears on channel 2. Or wait you are asking if you can get it only online without cable? Then no. Of course there are alternative ways *cough* stream2watch *cough* firstrowsports *cough*
