[SIZE=3]I have been retired for 5 years and currently snowbird to SoFla for the winter.[/SIZE] [SIZE=3] [/SIZE]I now have decided to sell my LI home and relocate to an area somewhere southward but within an hour of a major Metro area that is not too far from NYC and my grandkids in Harrisburg, PA. [/SIZE]My budget is 250k and I imagine myself in a smaller 3 BR/2BA home or condo in a rustic setting near a college town that offers a bit of culture. Since I plan to visit NYC and Harrisburg in the warmer months I would like to be reasonably close to public transportation and am considering areas outside of Philly along a corridor called ‘The Main Line’, which includes towns like Bryn Mawr and Bala Cynwyd.[/SIZE] [SIZE=3] [/SIZE]Can anyone offer me advice re the suit[/SIZE] [SIZE=3]ability of these places for my needs or suggest any alternatives that may be equally suitable?[/SIZE] [SIZE=3] [/SIZE]Mod: I am posting in both the retirement and PA forums as I’m not sure what is most appropriate.[/SIZE] [SIZE=3][/SIZE]
