Default Gladwyne

It's not just a town it's a lifestyle.

Gladwyne. 19035. The quest for the perfect suburb ends here.

Historic homes dot the wooded countryside, interlaced with creeks, winding roads, and old abandoned mill sites. Recreational opportunities abound from riverside parks to community hiking trails, award-winning golf and tennis facilities, and the ever popular and ancient sport, cricket.

Some of the finest of Philadelphia's suburban architecture and landscaping has made its way on to this rolling land and is a showcase to the wealth and power of Philadelphia's historic Main Line.

Minutes away are a multitude of shops and restaurants, dining options for all budgets and tastes, expressways and commuter rail for easy access to the city of Philadelphia and the western burbs, and don't forget the cute little village of Gladwyne itself. Between the OMG Salon, the Market House, and the Village Lunch you will rest assured fall in love with Gladwyne.

I just read your posting and found it very interesting. It sounds like something my family and I are going through right now. Did you move to NJ or PA?

Mt. Airy a pariah? West Mt. Airy is one of the nicer, more diverse middle-class neighborhoods in the city. Even East Mt. Airy is a solid middle-class neighborhood to consider, if you're comfortable with primarily African-American neighbors.

Obviously not familiar with Mt Airy. West Mt Airy is a beautiful area with some great homes. Just love it when people speak with such conviction of areas they've never set foot in.
