Hi!

I am moving from Southwest Philly (close to the airport) to Center City.

I am wondering what usually is the price range to hire movers to transport some of my stuff locally.

I don't have a lot of stuff and only been living in Philly for less than a year.

So basically, I just have an Ikea queen sized bed (which I already disassembled myself), a thin maybe 3-4 inch in thickness mattress, 2 ikea plastic chairs (very light), and an ikea table, microwave, and a vacuum cleaner, a trash can, and pans and dishes and stuff like that. lol

These are all the furnitures I have and the rest are just boxes of my stuff like my clothes and my toiletries.

I hope someone could help me to get an idea of what's considered pricey and what considered a reasonable price for hiring movers considering my situation.

As much as possible I would like to save an much money as I could. So if you could also give out some tips on saving on moving stuff, I would greatly appreciate it.

THANKS!

For that little stuff, just hire some dudes off Craigslist for $100.

Try Mambo movers. I used them when I lived there. We were very pleased.
