Riding past on the bus and was shocked to see a new bakery on the corner because I didn't even notice anything new was being built on that corner. I think I will stop in there tomorrow to get a sample of what they are selling. Has anyone been in there yet?

it's the latest outpost of Carlo's Bakery. The original store in Hoboken is the focus of the TV show Cake Boss. One of my kids is a devotee of that show. Haven't been in the new store on Walnut. Intended to go there while in Philly last week but never got around to it.

Oh, it's finally opened. It was supposed to open quite a while ago.

They said they opened on May 31st hen I went in there today. I didn't get what I wanted because they said they ran out of brownies. I don't think I will be going out of my way to return back to that bakery after today.
