What are some neighborhoods that I should be looking at? I like the quaint charm of Manayunk; any other neighborhoods like that but farther up north closer to Blue Bell?

What is city wage tax? I checked that the PA state income tax is 3.07 percent. Is there additional tax on top of that?
As I said in my previous post, look at Conshohocken. It's similar to Manayunk, but lower key.

The city wage tax is an additional tax (on top of state) if you live or work in the city. Manayunk is a city neighborhood, so if you live there you will pay an additional tax even if you work in Blue Bell. Conshohocken is not a city neighborhood, so you would avoid the tax altogether if you live there.

True. However, Conshohocken has a 1% local earned income tax on top of the state income tax. Many municipalities in PA have such a thing.

Ambler is really close to Blue Bell and might be to your liking.
