I think the OP is probably referring to his/her hotel being near the FRANKLIN MINT not FRANKLIN INSTITUTE. The Franklin Mint is near Olde City. One place to go is SquareBurger near the Franklin square, it has burgers.

The only mint in Old City that I'm aware of is the US Mint at 5th and Race Sts.

Yeah and OP said Franklin SCIENCE MUSEUM, which would be the Franklin Institute. The Mint is definitely not a science museum

Well... "The Franklin Mint" is a private mint that just makes collectible coins and doodads, located in the burbs, very close to the original Wawa dairy
