Can someone from the Norristown/East-West Norriton/Jeffersonville area give me their thoughts on the condos in that area? I know the area only on paper through real estate listings. I'm a 'downwardly mobile' woman (the recession lives) and at some point would like to buy an inexpensive condo that would rival renting (ie, below 150K). I see plenty of them in that area, and I'd welcome some insight into which communities may be worth exploring and what your thoughts are on safety, friendliness, amenities, transportation. Schools are not an issue. Thanks.
Like can you give us some names of the developments? And are you talking about condos (apartments), not townhouses? I'm trying to picture condo developments in that area that would be <$150K....not coming up with anything. There are plenty of townhouse developments but I'd imagine they'd be more than that. Though I haven't lived in the area for years, so maybe not.
