Woohoo! I may have been one of the only people pulling for them here in Tarheels territory!

Was an awesome game. Now the question comes down to where do they have the parade? This conversation has been heated because people don't want the city to have to foot the bill.

I didn't watch the game but knew they had won when I was awoken after midnight to sudden cheers in my neighborhood lol. Congrats to them, that was one heck of a last shot!

I am a Kansas fan but I am very happy for Villanova and their fans. This was probably the most entertaining national championship games I have ever seen. The ending was just unheard of! Amazing.

If it happens in the city, make the archdiocese pay for it. OT: Did the city get the expected reimbursement from the Pope's visit?

I'm here in Raleigh, so there were at least 2 of us!

This is a win for Philly and it would be OK for both the city and county to foot part of the bill (mostly public safety) as their victory shines a spotlight on the area.

What a terrific game! The two games leading up to it were surprising in their lop-sided scores so I was happy to watch a close game with two well matched teams. Of course, the last few minutes, I would have preferred a bigger lead, but what a great ending! I think it was good that 'Nova canceled classes today.

3, actually. I live in Philly but went to grad school at UNC and lived for 30+ years a stone's throw from the Dean Dome.
That said, I was happy Nova won, mostly because Philly has been overdue for a winner (I moved here in time for the Phillies in '08. Ever since then, well ...)
