Look up great schools rating. Personal reviews are subjective and can be skewed unless you have a large enough sample size.
However, personal reviews are also important if you are looking for specific information about the school or school district. For example, I've noticed some school buses where I live don't drive into some sub-divisions and kids are picked by the main road. I didn't know this but the school bus drives into my street. Or in some instances, the school bus could be picking up both high school and middle school students, and the buses are usually full. This are some of the useful information that reviewers may provide beyond the school rating, which is available online. Just saying a school is good or solid doesn't say much about a school.
