Yardley may have some housing in your price range. Not a bad commute to Philly and close to the Newtown/Doylestown areas. There should be some decent housing in the $300,000 range in that area.

You can easily find something decent in that price range in Levittown, Fairless Hills, Langhorne or Feasterville-Trevose. Just be sure the school district in these areas is either Pennsbury or Neshaminy.

Montgomery County I'm less familiar with, but I'm getting to know Lower Bucks pretty well. Yardley and anything else north of Morrisville is a tad pricey.

Too bad you don't like the Pennsburg/East Greenville area. Those two towns are adorable, although a little off the beaten path.
