Hello All,

My family and I are potentially moving from NJ to the Greater Philly Area. We really do not know much about the area, or where we should start looking, so we are seeking thoughts/opinions. Some of the pertinent details are below:

I will be commuting to Malvern, PA and ideally would like to keep my commute to 30-45 minutes.

Our family lives in Middlesex County, NJ and we would like to stay within an hour or so from them (hence our focus on Montgomery County).

We have 2 children (4th grade & 8th grade), so good public schools are extremely important.

We are Reform Jews and want to find a town with a good-sized Jewish Population.

Our budget is up to $700K.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Lower merion: 15k Jews and 14 synagogues

Plenty of homes in your price range, good public schools, and proximity to the city.

I echo Lower Merion. Not far from Malvern, close to the city, and super-desirable area. Except it will take more than an hour to get to Middlesex County.
