What are your feelings on Brian Taff?

I am having so much trouble watching the news while Gardner is on vacation because Taff looks like he is playing the role of a anchorman in a movie rather than being a actual man. He is stiff and very robotic and comes off very fake during the news. I hope this dude is not the replacement for the Gardner when he retires because I will have to move to channel 10

I, too, have a problem with Brian Taff. What is that affect at the end of his words? His voice makes me change the channel. I still start at Channel 6 but if he's at the desk, forget it...I switch over to 3 or 10. Sorry 6 but you probably lost a viewer due to this hire.

And I saw Jim Gardner at 6pm on Tuesday and then at 11pm I see Taff?? I was confused because I thought Jim was back from vacation

I agree about Brian Taff. When he first came here, I was shocked that Action News would hire a guy with such a "fake anchorman" voice. It's actually laughable. And now he hasn't been here that long, but he's already anchoring, when you've got Vernon Odom here a hundred years and still working the streets.

I don't get it. Action News usually hires likable personalities that we can warm up to. Rick Williams is the bomb, Walter Perez is very likable, Rob Jennings was of course wonderful and I'm sorry he chose to retire. I just don't get what Taff brings to the table.

I understand that Brian Taff is a strict news guys...like he'd be at home on CNN or Fox News reporting from the Pentagon or Supreme Court.

When 6at4 started after Oprah left, they were super involved in the chat rooms during commercial breaks and that's all he would talk about. Maybe this is a short stepping stone for him to go national on ABC News

I agree with what the others said. Taff's voice is jarring. I can't stand it. If he's on the air I jump to 10. He's so robotic and fake, like he's forcing his voice down into lower registers. It's awful.

I agree with the comments. Never liked him. He is so annoying, makes me want to change the channel and I love ABC. He blinks too much, has a robot's mannerisms, acts like he's totally scripted, talks and smiles like his mouth is rubberbanded. Who talks like him?? His pronunciation is so unnatural and fake. Will someone take him off the air?

Default Brian Taff

Will someone take him of the air? He is so fake, unlike all the other reporters. How did he get this position on ABC? His expressions and word pronunciation are so fake and impersonal! A robot has more personality and appeal.
