It's Welsh but we pronounce it "kinwood". Lol. You can just say "Bala" though. Many folks will know where you mean.

If you work and reside outside the city there will be no city wage tax for you. But if you work in the city and live outside it, there's a commuter tax which is less than what city residents who also work in the city pay.

Hello -

I am a transplant and have been living in Philly for 1.5 years. Prior to this, I lived in Seattle for 17 years, and in Raleigh, NC for less than 1 year. I have always wondered how they pronounced Cynwyd...every time I drive by that shopping center on City Avenue, I wonder...thanks for clearing that up!
