Hello. My husband and I along with our 19 month old son and seriously looking to move to PA. We are coming from Long Island, NY. We've already visited about 6 or 7 times looking into different areas in PA. We really like Bucks County specifically Perkasie, Doylestown, Warwick and Solbury however we are open to other areas as well. My husband is currently in search of a career. We prefer to have a job lined up before we commit. He has 20 years experience in the broadcasting and television industry but would be willing to work in another industry if the opportunity presented itself. Does anyone's have any advice on specific companies that pay well/ benefits and in your opinion are good companies to work for? I appreciate the feedback.

QVC is located in West Chester, PA. Very family friendly area, just slightly farther south than the towns you mention. But I have zero insight as to the work environment.

I assume that you are aware of the Comcast elephant. Comcast is much more than Cable. It owns Time Warner and NBC Universal. Suggest contact them to see if there is a potential fit. The new 1100+' Innovation Center building (not yet complete) should require a lot of new employees.

Mmm, no. AT&T owns, or will own if it's approved, TimeWarner. Innovation Center is at least a year away from completion.

Comcast tried to buy Time Warner Cable, but it was denied. AT&T, pending approval, is going to acquire Time Warner, Inc. (HBO, CNN, Turner, etc.)

Anyway, I thought the Innovation Center was going to primarily house tech-related employees so I'm not sure how relevant it is. Plus, as mentioned, it's a ways off.

Hard to give suggestions without more specifics - is the experience in sales? production? other?
