I'm looking forward to attending the rally although I'm not a political junkie, and this will be my first time to attend a political rally. Even during the 2008 Obama euphoria, I stayed away from being sucked into the hype even though I did contribute to Obama's campaign.

It gives me a lot of pride to see Philly playing a big role in determining the destiny of this great Nation and I know my vote counts more, especially because PA will determine the winner.
Depending on what happens with septa you may have a heck of problem getting to the rally.

I see SEPTA is still on strike but the regional rail services are still operating. My plan is to leave work at 3 pm and drive to the city. I plan on parking within 2 miles of the yet to be announced venue. The even ends at 7 pm and I hope to be home by 10 pm.

I could use the RR service if I can figure it out.

Thanks for 'heads up' on the rally. I'll do my best to go. I'm a Democrat and I do not want to see Trump win this election.

I'm told Katy Perry is going to have a pro-Hillary concert ... does anyone know about that?

Good luck. Even if the city division transit was running( heck, it might be by sometime on Monday), it still may be torturous for you. Where do you plan on parking?

I guess you haven't seen any pictures of the crowds on regional rail.

Yes. It's either going on right now as I'm typing this or it's over.

The rally likely has more to do with portraying Clinton as a cornerstone of Democracy. The DNC was held here, the final rally will be held here and I wouldn't at all be surprised if Clinton will be pre-inaugurated here (like Obama was), prior to DC. BTW, the rally will include a concert on the Mall with Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and ?

At least no one in Philadelphia will be waiting for factory jobs to magically reappear should Trump win.

Debra Messing was in the gayborhood, and Stevie Wonder was at Coda Friday night too. There was a lot of energy in the city this weekend, I knew a lot of people form NYC who headed down for everything.
