I'm with all you guys on keeping the Christmas Village at City Hall, even when Love Park is completed. I was there yesterday and it was actually fun and felt more festive. And it showcases City Hall and Dilworth Park and skating rink wonderfully. Hopefully the powers that be are noticing the same thing.

From what I can tell it's been a fantastic success. It's all in Squilla's city district so hopefully people will give him some positive feedback.

I was there this afternoon and I also like this year's location. Although I didn't see the everything bacon vendor that was there last year.

They were there when I went. Lots of vendors so it's easy to overlook one. IIRC, they were on the north side of City Hall.

The only thing I dislike about it is how it's over on Christmas Eve. I get vendors not wanting to extend it through Christmas week. But, it might be nice to have it at least go through New Years even with the Mummers and all.

Completely agree. It would be great if it went through 1/3, even if there are some days it's not open (like Xmas day).

Since we're on the Christmas market, here's another great video from Cory Popp:

The Christmas Market was very nice ... We wound up buying some cool coasters (Pete Rose, Mike Schmidt, Johnny Cash, Taxi Driver) and baked cheese from Wisconsin for ourselves, and crucifixes made in Bethlehem and gourmet popcorn as gifts. A good place to purchase small, last-minute, inexpensive, quality items.

I must admit I got distracted by Macy's and didn't go all the way through. Lol.
