Hi,
We are a young couple with no kids as of now. We are looking forward to buy a house for ourself.
Here is our minimum criteria
3 bed
2 bath
Garage (minimum 1 car)
Lots of closet space or basement
New construction would be great but we can do with something 10 years old at max.

We have budget of $300k-310k.

Also, we need to commute to the center city-suburban station. though past one year has been horrible with septa.
So ideal commute scenario would be 30 mins but seems like that it too hard for the conditions and budget we have. We think 50 mins is still reasonable beyond that might be a stretch for everyday commute.
We are open to both NJ and PA but we are looking for a good and safe neighbourhood.
We think we can do with no so B grade schools as well if the area is safe and other conditions are met.

Thank you for your help.

Copy/paste the questions from the following link into this thread and answer them:

Also, this forum is more about assisting with locations than housing, although people can certainly give you an idea of the types of homes you might find in a particular town or part of the city.

So you don't care about the qualities of the area other than it being safe and a short commute?

Bridesburg is what you're looking for, but it's not very racially diverse. It's a mix of blue collar and professional white.

What does qualities really mean? I do care about certain things, one for example would be driving in city itself or road leading to major highways. Example, in my opinion- landowne to I95 is terrible commute in a car. you have trolleys on the road and you are driving on the tracks sometimes even sliding on those. Also, you are driving through quite a shady area or atleast from the look and feel of it.
