Hi. I'm wondering what people think about the various grocery options in East Norriton. There seems to be so many options right near each other (Weis, Giant, Short Rite, Aldi, and Walmart). Which is the busiest? Has the beer and wine at Weis made it more attractive?

I tend to like the Shoprite and they also sell Beer and Wine. Parking lot is usually crowded which is a pain. At one point I heard they were looking to turn the Walmart into a Super Walmart... no idea if that will happen - store is a little small for a Walmart.

I normally shop at Giant ( my prescriptions are filled at their pharmacy) and Aldi. Sometimes I go to shoprite. Rarely do I go in Weiss since my nephew doesn't work there anymore. I was told the Giant will be getting another makover to compete with shoprite amd Weiss so they can start selling beer and wine.
Walmart, I only go in there when I have to.

I don't really have an opinion about which is "best" but damn, that area indeed has a lot of supermarkets in close proximity to one another. Are you new to the Philly suburbs though? Because if so, I can give you a lot of unbiased opinions about the supermarkets and other chain stores in any given town.
