Sometimes people ask the question, what are the tangible benefits of being named a "national treasure" or a world heritage city. Imo, it is events like this that bring a general awareness to the city that makes the titles worth something.

The National Trust For Historic Preservation partnered with Heineken Beer to generate an indiegogo fundraiser to help give the Friends of the Rail Park an early boost while getting some perks for donating.

I remember seeing that a couple months ago, but many of the concert dates were not available. Glad to see more availability now! Definitely going for this. Thanks!

No problem. Good on you for supporting!

On the campaigns final day, they have reached 215% of their goal, raising over $30k for the rail park.

I ended up supporting the Rail Park project (obviously) and doing the Saturday, Sept. 30th show at the Verizon Center in DC!
