i was listening to a coworker last night talking about going to a restaurant on Delaware Ave, but she referred to it as Columbus Blvd.

it took me a few seconds to sink in that they were the same thing. I don't know anyone who uses the name "Columbus Blvd." I think even 1060 kyw refers to it as Delaware Ave whenever they report a story originating from there.

so...what do you call it? Delaware Ave or Columbus Blvd????

In the center city area - Columbus Blvd. Otherwise - Delaware Avenue. What I really hate is the change of names for the East and West River Drives.

Delaware. "Get off at the sign that says "Columbus" and then go up Delaware Ave.

Thats how to get there.

When I see or hear "Columbus Boulevard", I just mentally translate it into "Delaware Avenue". I guess that makes me bilingual!

A portion of Delaware Ave is named Columbus. It is the "new" portion south of Penn's Landing where all the big box shopping centers are until it turns into Pattison. North of Penn's landing it is still Delaware Av.
