I want to enjoy some cold weather, but I don't want to get stuck in some bad storm.

Does anyone know if the coast is clear now as far as inclement weather goes? Do things get better the closer you get to spring?
The latest one didn't have much punch here...well not much in Center City Philly which had no accumulating snow. By yesterday afternoon the sun was out. It is too cold for this time of year though which likely will affect many of the flowering trees like apple and cherry blossoms.

It may hit 50+F by next Monday.

Here it is late March and it is still freezing cold out. Big blizzard Tuesday into Wednesday this past week. Could have done just fine without that. Enough already!

Seriously though, March is a tricky time of year to travel to this part of the country. Might be better when Phil doesn't see his shadow.

Seasonal change is going on at least near and in Center City. The latest snow was not nearly as bad and was essentially a nothingburger the next day. Why? More solar radiation most likely.

Soon we will hear rants about how hot it is and the humidty. Lol.

We've had big snows in March before but nothing like this year.

Unfortunately we probably will not see much wrt flowering trees this year. The storms probably destroyed flower buds that were forming.

Probably true. Yesterday was a beautiful day and now it is back to being cold and windy again. No precipitation though which is a good thing. I wonder if this will be one of those years we get snow in April.
