Anyone think they will go to the post season?

I'm starting to think that they have a chance.

Yes, I think they will. However, the question remains will they lull their opponents into slumber due to boredom?

2008 Team Celebration

Jayson Werth did not get booed. Total surprise.

Yes, I believe now. Mostly because of how weak the Nationals are turning out to be. I thought they would be the team to beat in the division, but they've faded badly. I don't fear the Braves in a pennant race as much as I would the Nats.

I wasn't too surprised. His Nats career is over now. He's no longer the enemy and did do some great things with the Phils.

I'm not bored by this team at all anymore. LOL.

I was 100% wrong about Gabe!

I've been to the ballpark a few times this year. Didn't go at all last year. Still kinda crickets on the 400 level though.

I don't know if I was "wrong". I was skeptical in the beginning and said he's going to have to learn fast about how to manage certain things (cough bullpen cough), but in general, he has, so I give him credit for that. Last night was disappointing (although I went to bed after the 9th), but he left Arrieta in for 8 and Dominguez is supposed to be the closer, so I don't have a problem with anything he did there.

They haven't started to draw people in yet, but it will happen if they are still in first going into September. I think people still have that Super Bowl afterglow around the town.

What troubles me is the ballpark should have been full last weekend for the 2008 tribute. But, yep...still a lot more of the season.

Gabe Kapler, imo, won't last the season.
Funny how much changes in a few months.

If the Phillies keep it up Kapler will be one of the favorites for manager of the year.

Yep. I've done a complete 180 about him. He's turning into a pretty good leader.
