Hello,

I am DavePa's alter ego, and I came in to apologize for all the demeaning he's done on Philly. Unlike my alter ego, I can type proper sentences that aren't hieroglyphic, and I don't add random capitalizations and ellipses. I also won't promote Chicago in every other post, while demeaning Philly.

Wow over 140 thread visits and one other post.

But if the thread is to remain intact by powers that be. Just USE IT as the title says.
Enough threads have been those negative ones that get annoying right.

So why not utilize it as the title says for GREAT aspects of Philly for visitors and locals to be informed of another has found awesome. New or old locale or establishment.

Seems most probably expected that right .... A Great titled thread is a terrible thing to waste.

I dunno. I kind of liked the other (non Pollyana) Dave better . That said, I love Pasqually's (44th between Walnut and Locust) in University City. Great food, good prices, beer and wine to go or to stay (which I have come to realize is REALLY rare). Fairly bustling part of UC even if it's on the western end. Herschel's deli at RTM is my go to place for lunch. Jones on Chestnut and 10th for brunch. Rittenhouse Square/Old City for people watching.
