hi all,

We recently moved to this area (Abington township) and getting used to the place.

Who provides water supply to the homes ? Is it public water ? Do private companies actually provide the service ?

Thanks.

Apparently, most of Abington Township’s water is supplied by Aqua America, which is headquartered in Bryn Mawr. Aqua is a private company, but it provides water services under agreements with municipalities and under the regulations of local governments as well as the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).

Why don't you check your townships website. Or even your neighbors. It's 2018 and most of these information is available online at your fingertips
