Or is this entire area controlled by Comcast? My bill came in the mail and I can't deal $212.00 a month and this is without DVR, streaming services, telephone, and Movie channels

I was thinking you had to live in a house to get Directv or Dish

Drop cable TV, get a streaming service like DirecTV Now or Along TV or YouTube TV.

Brush up on Kodi to figure out how to stream movies and TV shows.

Yes. Although they will probably make you an offer for extremely cheap TV if you call them and say you only want internet.
