May need to shoot a movie/scene there soon. Need a room for basically one hour, anything more is wasting. Anyone know a best spot?

Not worried what neighborhood. Just need the hour.

There are good hotels (brand names) in the city at under $100 + taxes + parking per night. Suburbs too. Not sure about per hour rates and hotels, I know there is a Minute Suites in the airport.

sounds like he's looking for a quickie, or he's making a porno...you only need an hour.

Finding a by-the-hour on Google seems surprisingly difficult.

You're unlikely to get a hotel room for 1 hr. Even if you find a hotel with an hourly rate, I think the minimum duration may be something like 4 hours. You could also consider looking for hotels that have a daytime rate.

Just rent the room, shoot your scene, and throw a party when you're done.

Raven motel I think does by the hour, and it seems like there'd be some near the airport near Passyunk Ave., but I can't find any.

The hotels that rented rooms by the hour used to be called "hot pillow" hotels or motels. Nowadays, you'll have to rent a hotel room for a full day as it's tough to find maids to clean such rooms after normal business hours.
