La Peg, Continental, Franklin Fountain for dessert (cash only), and many Americans like Han Dynasty but Chinatown has more authenticity.

Good options, but those are all actually N Front. Ginza (new sushi place at Front and Federal - excellent); For Pete's Sake (front and Christian - award winning American-style pub); go one block west on Christian and you've got a couple average options on 2nd; one more block west and two north and you have New Wave cafe. Couple of places in Head House Square b/t Pine and South on 2nd; keep going north and you hit Old City which offers pretty much anything you want.

South Front Street goes from Market down to Pattison....which are nowhere near each other?

I was going on the assumption the OP was going to this: https://visitpa.com/pa-flea-markets/...ge-flea-market which would put him/her on Columbus Blvd east of Pennsport/Queen Village area. FYI, from what I hear, this flea market is awesome with a ton of stands and merchandise.

Han Dynasty isn't authentic? It's legit Szechuan. Yeah, it's a small chain, but Han and family are very outspoken about what constitutes proper northern Chinese cuisine, and their offerings reflect that. Chinatown may offer some different takes on Chinese, but IMO it's no more or less authentic than what Han does.

Pizzeria Stella (pizza, obvs), Khyber Pass (creole bar food), and Bistro Romano (italian) are all good options in that general area.

Then your move is Head House Square (2nd and South Street area).
- Cavanaughs
- Xochitl
- Stella Pizza
- The Twisted Tail
- Tamarind
- Malbec Argentine Steakhouse
- And I think the newly rehabbed Bridget Foy's is open again?
- Oh, and a Wawa and Wells Fargo if you want to resupply with water, etc... or get some cash.

It's a very cool little area to boot. Definitely worth seeing.
