Even if he was irresponsible, does that really mean he deserved to die?

No but reckless driving with an unlicensed, non-road vehicle is bound to kill/injure either the biker or a bystander at some point.

Agreed, but that doesn't mean he "deserved" to die, or that we should have zero sympathy for him or his family. The "punishment" doesn't fit the crime, and I'm just a bit shocked that it sounds like some people (like the OP) think it does.

No one deserves to die as punishment for anything in my view but there are real consequences to reckless behavior. I mean, look at the below and try to not be surprised that we don't have more dead due to this very common dare devil stuff.

I'm a bit shocked someone thought it was a good idea to be cruising through city streets on a dirt bike. Also, he must have known it was illegal and his selfish actions were putting people at risk. He didn't seem to care much about those factors. I personally reserve my sympathy for individuals to whom bad things happen that are completely out of their control.

No, of course not and I was not suggesting it. The comment was a reference to that being was impression I got from reading previous comments.
