Checked houses in Malvern, Leigh valley, Hershey areas.


Still not sure where to buy for best value.


Anywhere east PA is fine.

Chester Springs, or the 422 corridor (Royersford, Collegeville, Oaks, etc).

Hershey!!?? That's way off the beaten path. Ditto the above poster who said pick a place on the 422 corridor, like Collegeville or Royersford.

Actually, I was just looking at directions from Philly to Hamburg, and the quickest route is up 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) to 476 (Northeast Extension) to Rt. 78 West. So rather than the 422 corridor, maybe look at places off exits of the NE Extension, such as Harleysville up to Quakertown.
