The link is to the result of the election for judges to the Common Court, where voters could choose up to three candidates, which is why there are more votes cast than voters.

Somebody who actually paid attention while they voted would know this.

Adam was a nice guy with liberal social views - pro-LGBT and pro-Choice - but conservative economic views. However, in a city where only 17% of the voters are registered Republicans he did not have a chance. Fattah was prosecuted and had to resign anyway.
When Sam Katz's mayor's run failed two times that was it for them in the city.

The story out of this election cycle is the suburbs really going blue. The city electing a WFP member was less about them and more about the in fighting going on in the city GOP. If you trimmed the 5 republican candidates down to 2 or 3, they probably would have won again. I am personally not happy with the extreme left wing gaining even more power on city council. I thought this column in the inquirer was pretty funny and right on the nose:
Philly elected more worker advocates. But, where are the jobs?
They did not do a good job at all about the new machine roll out and informing people about them. I only knew about them because, during the Broad St Open Streets, I stopped at a union hall on Broad St that had one to try out. All in all it's better that the new machines were implemented this year rather than next year in presidential primary and general election year.

What in fighting is going on in the virtually non-existent city GOP? Republicans, who have remained in the party even locally, simply can not disengage from Trump nor do they seem to want to.
