Hi everyone,

We are moving to Philadelphia area and we are searching for a property.

We were recommended Cherry Hill for its 'excellent school district 'by a friend for our son with an IEP. I did some research job and was confused that there are schools scored 4/5 within the school district. Its property tax is high though and the budget spent on each student is 19K which is very high.

For Garnet Valley there is no school lower than 8 and houses there are newer but with lower property tax. Its driving distance is 20 minutes longer than Cherry Hill to my husband's working place.

I know when it comes to special education support the great schools score should not be the only thing to consider. I want to weigh these two districts objectively.

Any information or suggestion would be highly appreciated.
