Hello all Soo I'm going to meet this girl for the first time.. we have been talking for a few months now. So what is a good place to meet a person and where can I go for a date? Also I'm looking for a place where I can park free.. I know that in bigger cities is a pain to find parking Soo.

Or you can have a Uber date like I did last night.

Clark Park area

40th and Walnut area

But since there is no indoor dining right now you have to go to the suburbs for a date unless you just want to meet at a park and that would be Clark Park

Which is why there's SEPTA.

Unfortunately, thanks to COVID, the level and frequency of service has been cut, but if you're looking to meet in West Philly, it has plenty of bus, trolley and rapid transit routes that serve it. If you're looking for an interesting restaurant, I'd recommend taking the 34 trolley out Baltimore Avenue, getting off around 46th, and strolling west along Baltimore to see if anything strikes your fancy. I highly recommend Dahlak, the Eritrean/Ethiopian restaurant in the 4700 block; there's also a good soul-food-ish place in the 5000 block and Dock Street Brewing at 50th, in a converted firehouse.

S**t, forgot about that.

OP: File my recommendations for after the COVID restrictions are lifted. Until then, I guess it's Clark Park or a good coffee shop with some outdoor seating.

The restaurants in question, however, may have commandeered curbside spaces for outdoor dining as so many other city restaurants have. I wouldn't rule them out completely for that reason, but you may want to call around to see which ones have outdoor dining.

And possibly a case of Covid. Not the best way to start a relationship.
