I am interested in a home near the Plumstead Quarry in Doylestown, PA but was concerned about the noise, pollution, and health impact. Does anyone have experience with this particular quarry (https://www.hkgroup.com/companies/plumstead-quarry) or what it is like living near a quarry? Thanks!

Not that quarry specifically but through the years I've heard of a few accidents at other quarries in the general area. People (usually boys) get curious and fall into them. There have been a few drownings in the ones that have flooded. I'm sure they probably have fencing around them though.

We lived near that quarry for 20+ years and rarely heard anything. We were to the South, you might hear a little more to the North of it given the way it sits on the land. It does create dump truck traffic on Pt Pleasant Pike and 413, but not a crazy amount. Over time, IMHO you might see some impact to well water as they get down below well depth of nearby properties.
