We are looking to relocate to PA. Hubby works in New Brunswick; and I work from home. What we are looking for:

1. Great school district
2. Friendly nieghborhood
3. Decent commute....

Hubby has the option of taking the train to work instead of driving if that is a factor.. TIA!!

We just bought a house (we're from out of state, moving in 3 weeks) and got the low-down on the school districts. Newtown is in the best (Council Rock) so home prices are higher. Very nice area though. Langhorne is in a good one as well (Neshaminy). Try looking in Warrington (Central Bucks). That is where we bought and it's close to the train as well (also needed for us) and got use more "bang for the buck". Council rock is the #1 district in the state with Central Bucks and the others a close 2nd.

If you look in Langhorne, there is a house for sale on Ave F that is amazing.

Actually Central Bucks is the best district in Bucks co., then New Hope then Council Rock then Palisades then Quakertown then Pennridge...all of these are in the top 100 districts in the state which is very good...btw the best district in the state is in the Pittsburgh area, around here its Tredyffrin, Central Bucks, Chadds Ford, Radnor and Lower Merion.
