Uber, taxi, rent a car? I’m by myself.

I like Lyft. You can book up to 7 days in advance, so no worries about whether or not somebody will show up if you call after landing.

Of course it's safe. What is the concern? The lyft driver is going to kidnap you?

I'd choose Lyft over Uber. I haven't used them, but there's also First Class car service.

There are various airport van services. One is called Dave's Limo. You will be riding in a van with a few other people and will have to go through different neighborhoods as they drop off various people at different locations. When your plane arrives, you may have to wait a few hours for them to take you because they are waiting for a bunch of other passengers to arrive (a full van load) before leaving the airport. The plus is that you are not alone in the van with the driver like with Lyft or Uber. I've used them before and they are reputable although pricey.

Personally I haven't taken Lyft or Uber while alone before. I'm amazed at women who won't take a walk through their neighborhood by themselves out of fear yet will get into a Lyft or Uber by themselves.

I agree and it’s actually hilariously sad. Like someone who’s slaving away in the middle of night driving Uber, who has worked to get 4 or 5 stars, would randomly be like “yep I’m going to kidnap this person”. This world man..

Right? To be honest, YOU (as in the passenger) are way more of a threat to the driver than the other way around.
