I didn't take offense to anything you said. I was just explaining that while many greater Philadelphia Jewish neighborhoods are fancy, far from all greater Philadelphia fancy neighborhoods are Jewish.

We have seen a growing number of Jewish people return to University City. From the late Victorian era right up to the 1950s there was a sizable Jewish community in West Philly (you can still see what was once synagogues around), but then there was a migration out of the area. There is a synagogue on Baltimore Avenue called Kol Tzedek, A couple of Lubavicher houses in Spruce Hill, Koch's Deli on Pine Street is still there, and a lot of the college students are Jewish.
