There is no reason for snow in cities. It belongs on mountains.

Philly residents have a good reason to hate the snow since most of the city streets will not be plowed. Tax dollars at work.

Its awesome for the kids though, the memories of these monster snowstorms
will last a lifetime.

The variabilty of weather is also part of what makes living in the northern part of the country unique. Although it seems in the past 10 years or so we either get buried or we get nothing at all. Id prefer the 3"-6" storms to the 15"-"30" snowstorms

The cutoff lines of this storm were unreal. The Philly area got 2 feet + and NYC got a dusting.

The main problem I have is that the local TV stations get a bit carried away. CBS 3 has been running local storm coverage all day.

26.7" is the official number KPHL and still counting. Thats the second biggest snowstorm on record which replaced the Dec 19th 2009 storm which is now #3. Thats incredible the #2 #3 biggest snowstorms in history occurring during the same season.

The weather models are saying there is another potential major storm on the way for Wednesday- 10" +.

Anyone else feel the immense hate towards SEPTA? It's one of the things keeping Philly from being a truly sustaniable and world class city. Rude, uninformed employees, a stinky subway, and infrequent schedules outside of core routes.

Oh, and as a side note: Who do you think the Eagles will keep next year:

McNabb, Vick or Kolb?

Both McNabb and Kolb, unless Chicago trades Jay Cutler for their hometown guy.

Vick's going to Buffalo or Carolina, IMHO. Surprised Al Davis (Oakland) didn't call him last year.
