Hi everyone,

I snoozed on Simpson st. so didnt get that one. Now I am choosing between two houses in the same area. One is on the 5200 block of Rodman st and the other 5200 block of Hazel. Does anyone know anything that I really need to know about these blocks? I am getting mixed information, some say its nice others say to avoid. I welcome all comments...

Thanks in advance

who is telling you that it's nice? I'm pretty sure the consensus on the last thread was to stay within the University City boundaries. If you're looking at super cheap apartments it's because they're in less than stellar neighborhoods.

Having checked out some of your other posts, I would predict that you would blend in with the neighborhood. Taking a look at a street-level photo map, I'd say that the 5200 block of Hazel looks marginally better than the same block around the corner on Rodman. However, IMO even going one block east would improve the aesthetics if not also a bit of safety.
