In school this morning, we normally have a tv news type of program so everybody knows what going on and everything, and every year on 9/11, the whole school would pause for a moment of silence to remember the lives that were lost this day. This morning, they never had it!! I couldn't believe it!! Why would they not do it? I think that it is very rude not to take a few seconds or minutes out of the day to remember all of the people that were in the twin towers, or on flight 93, or in the pentagon, that lost their lives. Does anybody find this a little disturbing or is it just me?

Yes, I do find it disturbing. And I can't say too much for the risk of pissing people off, but schools are among the WORST for being so over-politically correct that they've lost heart for their nation.

Wow, I'm surprised that this topic wasn't more popular. There was a lot of talk in the NJ forum about how the remembrance of this day is already slipping away.

Say something to the administrators! That's ridiculous!!! And don't tell me they're worried about being politically correct?!?!?!
