I am a single mom of a 4 year old and I will be graduating this coming December with a Bachelors of Social Work (BSW). I live in Cleveland, Ohio and I really want to move.

-Is the price of living in Philly high?
-As a single mom and entry-level social worker, is it possible to live comfortably in a decent area?

Price of living in center city phila - yes it's fairly high. In suburbs or NE end of Phila, it's lower. With a 4 year old child I would assume you would want suburbs though. You could get a starter house in a Phila suburb like Levittown, Langhorne for $200-250 with a nice yard and close proximity to major roads. Not sure what your price range is, but at least this gives you an idea.

Compared to Cleveland, I think you will find the cost of living quite high...
