How are the surrounding towns? I would definitely like to stay close to a train station, and we are realizing that there are plenty areas around KoP that we could live in, I just hope they are nice. I remember once going to an interview in Paoli and thinking it was a dump. There was just nothing there, and everything seemed really old and out of touch. Maybe I'm wrong, but I would like to live somewhere where a little more is happening, or where it is at least a nicer area and still close to entertainment/shopping/etc.

How is the area around Villanova/Bryn Mawr? Wayne, Rosemont, Strafford, Devon, Berwyn? As you can see I'm kind of trying to stick near the Septa stations! If these aren't nice places to live, then I don't have to be right next to a station though. Are these places expensive, dumpy? Fun, boring?

All of that area is the Main Line - the most expensive, exclusive places to live around here. Not really for young folks though except maybe Bryn Mawr - wherever the college kids hang out.

You should move to Conshohocken as it has everything you want and really nothing you don't.

How old are you/bf? The best thing is to just rent a car (30th st station or center city) and explore all these places. You won.t see much from a bus or the train. Use apartmentguide.com and a map first to lay the ground work.
