My wife got her undergrad and one of her grad degrees at Temple. It is a huge school with many departments. Of course not all are rated equal, but you have probably researched that BEFORE you applied, I assume ;>)

For example; the Med School and Conservatory of Music are very highly rated.
Students come from all over the world to study here. Including those who have lots of other options. As far as know the business school is highly rated.
(As mentioned, not Wharton, but obviously you get out what you put in.)
I think you will enjoy it. GOOD LUCK!!

Default B-school reputation quite good!

I attended the Fox School of Business at Temple U. I love the name of our b-school. We have a really good dean and he has done wonders. Fox is now rated in the top 75 in the world and top 50 in the US. Fox is a large school with 6000 students. It's the largest supplier of business talent in the Philly region. A new $60 building will open in 2009. You can also take classes in Center City and Fort Washington. My profs were top notch and the students very diverse. I remember during my senior year talking to two classmates. Both were headed west to law schools. One was headed to USC and the other to Stanford! I was blown away at how smart they were! I was headed to work after graduation! However I returned in 1998 part-time to get my MBA at the Fort Washington campus...

Actually, our new b-school is $80,000,000.

I'm a soph at Temple, and it's been an amazing experience. I transferred from a top 60 US News Ranked school, and for what it's worth, my education at Temple is equal or above that at my previous school.

Go Owls!
