Would be moving from out of state for grad school. I went to the campus yesterday to visit. Seems small. It was Sunday so pretty dead and couldn't really get a feel of what it'd be like when classes are in session. I'd be attending the business school there. I heard from a current Temple grad student yesterday that the school's reputation is not as good as it used to be, wanted to know if there's any truth in that. He's not in the business school however so couldn't really give me feedback on that. I am still interested in the school's reputation overall though.

The website for the Fox School of Business claims it's a top school.

It cites Financial Times, Princeton Review, and many other data sources.

I recommend checking out the links on their site and researching the individual reports yourself.

Temple is a very good school. It's not Wharton, but few schools are.

Default great school

Great School with a nice price tag. Temple, Jefferson, and La Salle are the only schools all of my family have attended. Temple is great. Right now I have two nephews there...3rd generation students. Good luck.

Temple is definitely a quality school with a great reputation, especially within the Philly area. I'm actually considering going there for graduate school as well (law). It's kind of a shame you heard otherwise, but I suppose different people can have different perceptions.

that student I referred to in my initial post actually had good things to say about their law school.

Thanks for all the responses, since I'll be coming from out of state, I just wanted some local feedback.

Great school surrounded by a rough neighborhood. Dont stray to far. Do not ride subways after 10.

I am a communications student at Temple. The nieghborhood is bad, but the campus is nice and they have a wonderful tech. center. There are a lot of class options at the center city campus as well. You might want to look into that. Depending upon where you live the center city campus might be easier to get to. Good luck!

Very underrated; I did a year at the law school and it exceeded my expectations.
