I am looking for suggestions on where to find guys who can help with moving. We are moving from Exton to Norristown area.
We are going to pack everything, and I will have a u-haul truck that I will be driving. We will need help with loading and unloading the truck.

I have heard from some that guys who can help with moving are usually found near gas stations or outside grocery stores.

Anyone knows any specific places where I should be looking....
Thanks in advance

Craigslist, local college bulletin boards, or hire a cheap mover. Any time, but especially in this economy at this time of year I would not be using destitute strangers to move my valuables as stuff may grow legs...

My best suggestion would be to either contract with a reputable moving company you can afford, or enlist the help of relatives and friends. As the poster mentioned above, it would not be a wise idea to hire total strangers just randomly picked from a street corner. You must not only consider the security and proper handling of your valuables, but the safety and security of your familiy and home as well.

I think hiring cheap labor will just cost you a lot more in the long run.
