I would like to know which party dominates Philadelphia and if Philadelphia is very politically active in that particular party?

Your location is shown as Philadelphia. So, unless you just moved here you should know the city if predominately Democratic.

I think Democrats outnumber Republicans in the city by about 8-1. Most of the surrounding suburbs are primarily Republican. Philly residents are very knowledgable and loyal to their party.

In the city, Democratic. In the suburbs, Republican.

Not anymore... These days dems win the suburbs all across America, and especially in Philly... That was one of the big stories this past presidential and congressional elections.

I think an accurate statement is...EVERY large city in these United States of America is Democratic... Literally every city.

I would be shocked if there were 2 majority republican cities within the 100 largest.
