Hello everyone,

My husband may accept a new job in Conshohocken. Here is our information. Thanks, in advance, for your help.

- When are you moving? within the next 6-9 months
- Where are you coming from? Virginia Beach, VA
- Have you been here yet? No
- Will you buy or rent? Buy
- If buying, are you looking for a house or a condo? How much can you spend? We are looking for a single family and not a twin. We would spend around 215,00 for a smaller home (around 1,000 square ft w/basement) that we could put an addition on. We would spend as much as 275,000 for a house that is at least 1500 square feet w/basement.
- Are you married or single? Do you have children? I am an stay-at-home-mom with 4 children (3, 4, 12 and 15)
- Do you prefer public or private schools? public
- Do you have pets? 1 year old Golden Retriever
- Do you want or need a yard? yes, preferably fenced.
- Are you keeping a car? yes
- Do you prefer bustling activity or calm and quiet? either if the house and property are right
- What do you want to be closest to? We would like to avoid more than a 30 minute commute for my husband.
- Do you want to live with people of a similar age, race, religion or sexual preference or do you prefer a diverse neighborhood? minimal diversity, but, if the overall quality of the neighborhood is above average it doesn't matter.

Thanks!!!!
Kathy

Your options are limitless. Go to www.realtor.com Take out a map and start plugging in the names of the nearby towns to Conshohocken. Just avoid Norristown. I would favor towns to the north and west for your price range. South of the river is the "Main Line" which gets very pricy. Conshohocken itself has some decent residential sections on the west side of town as well.

I agree with this. I was going to say just look in Conshohocken and avoid commute issues altogether. Affordable as well, you'll find what you are looking for.
