Yuengling made a huge comeback in tasty brews in the last 20 years. Yes, Pottsvile is where this wonder brew is made. When we lived West of Philly, our neighbor visited his aunt who lived a short distance from the brewery. We were often given a few 6 packs when only Pottsville was proud of its name.

Nowadays it is seen in grocery stores where we now live in SE Florida.

Manyunk is a small town just outside of Philly whose Main Street is parallel with the Schuylkill River and there are many Micro breweries there that need someones taste buds.

Manayunk is section of Northwest Philly.

The Red Bell Brewery used to be based out of Manayunk. It was a pretty good brewery; too bad it went under. They had a fabulous Black Cherry Stout on tap at the Wacho Center. I loved that beer; would have a few of those during Flyer games. . .

Yuengling is a good "go-to" beer. Their Porter is pretty good for the price as well.

Martin's Potato Rolls (also not of Philly origin, but a regional favorite). I'd go with a roast pork sandwich. hell, carangi's and sarcones bread

Haha im living in St. Louis for 6 months and I was talking about cheesesteaks. Someone literally thought I was talking about a t-bone with cheese on top. I had to specifically say "Philly Cheesesteak" and then they all understood
