Ello,

Me and the wife wanna get a way from the city for a weekend. Any ideas where to go? It has to be romantic. Maybe horse back riding. Maybe some water, lake or sea. Somewhere secluded would be nice, with some accessibility to areas of interest. I hope within 2-3 hrs drive.

Are you looking for a general area or something more specific? Because I'm surprised if you have not already considered the Poconos: Pocono Mountains Official Site - Poconos Vacation & Visitors Information, Maps & Outdoor Activities, Hotel & Resorts, Conference & Convention Facilities

Also check out some of the State Parks: Welcome to Pennsylvania State Parks - PA DCNR

How about Cape May, NJ? It's not secluded, but it's a really beautiful, charming Victorian town on the sea with LOADS of beautiful Victorian bed and breakfasts. I bet it would be wonderful there after Labor Day.

Another idea...there is a bed and breakfast in NJ that I have been dying to go to. It is supposed to be one of the nicest B&B's anywhere. The Woolverton Inn. This place looks pretty quiet and secluded.

Thank Pa2uk. I agree, Caesar's really tacky. HAHA...

Thanks Sassy, the inn near new hope looks really awesome. I'm tempted to go there. I wish i can afford those cottages. Might have to settle for just the rooms. I like that it's close to philly, has that small town charm, close to water and relatively secluded.

I know, doesn't it look awesome? Man, it is pricey, though. That's what always holds me back from going there. I always think for the money we would spend on a few nights there, we could travel to the Caribbean for a week.
