I can really use some advise, I am in search or a nice neighborhood clean and safe.I am currently in a $400K home 5 bed room big yard great association and low low crime. We plan to downsize for his time in Business school but we want a safe nice area within a decent distance to University of Pennsylvania. Looking to rent home, townhome. Any suggestion on nice safe neighborhoods? I had lived in manyunk years ago and that not what i am looking for now with a family. Thanks so much!

Wayne and Media are both very nice towns. West Chester might be the best if you dont mind a 45- 60 minute commute.

Good luck.

Wayne will be a lot more $$$ than Media, IMO. Both have regional rail access from their downtowns to Center City (30 Street Station) and them subway access to U Penn campus.

Narberth, Ardmore, and Jenkintown. Also, while not in the suburbs, West Mt. Airy. All have trains that go to 30th Street, then it's just a short trolley ride to Wharton.
